THIS IS A TONER THAT HAS THE OPC DRUM BUILT INTO THE CARTRIDGE ITSELF AND IS REPLACED AS ONE WHOLE UNIT.  THERE IS NO SEPARATE DRUM UNIT.

Print Quality Issues

There is a pull tape seal on the side of the cartridge that must be removed prior to installation.  It is important that this seal is completely removed.  If the cartridge is printing blank pages or after 2-3 pages it is now printing blank then the pull tape seal has not been removed or has broken off inside the cartridge while being removed.

The OPC drum is located on the bottom of the cartridge and is protecting by a spring loaded plastic shutter.  Lift the shutter to visually inspect the OPC for damage or debris.  Do NOT touch the OPC drum.  You can use a clean, dry, lint-free cloth to gently clean the drum.  Do NOT use moisture of any kind.

Holding the cartridge by its ends, gently rock the cartridge back and forth a few times to redistribute the toner inside the cartridge.

Not Fitting

Verify you have the correct cartridge for your specific printer model.  Make sure the cartridge is being installed in the correct direction.  Check inside the printer for any obstructions that may be interferring with the installation of the toner cartridge.  Check the toner cartridge itself for physical damage.  Verify that the pull tape seal has been removed from the side of the cartridge.
