THESE TONER CARTRIDGES DO NOT HAVE THE OPC DRUM INTEGRATED. THE DRUM UNIT IS A SEPARATE, REPLACEABLE, MAINTENANCE ITEM.
There are 4 colors in this cartridge series; Black, Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow.
These are compatible cartridges so there will be differences from the OEMs. These differences will not affect the function.
Not Recognizing
Verify they have the correct cartridges for their specific printer model.
There is a smart chip located on the top end of the cartridge. Check the chip for damage or debris. A clean, dry, lint-free, cloth can be used to gently clean the gold contacts.
Make sure that the correct color is being installed into the correct color slot.
To install these toner cartridges into a Dell 7130CDN do the following;

Print Quality Issues
For any print quality issue you will want to try to determine if the problem is occurring with a specific color or if it is occurring across the board. There is a troubleshooting page that can be printed to help determine print quality issues. To print this page do the following;
– Press the ▼ button.
– Select TROUBLESHOOTING > PRINT QUALITY ISSUES > TROUBLESHOOTING PRINT QUALITY PAGE.
– Press the OK button to print.
Try shaking the cartridge up and down 3 times to loosen the toner inside. Sometimes the toner powder can become compacted inside the cartridge.
If the printed material looks too dark or too light the printer may need recalibrating. To calibrate the printer do the following;
– Press the ▼ button.
– Select TROUBLESHOOTING > PRINT QUALITY PROBLEMS > CALIBRATE COLORS
– Press the OK button to print.
If white lines are appearing on the printed pages then the LED may be dirty. Each imaging unit has a cleaning rod located inside its slot to clean the LED. To clean the LEDs do the following;
– Open the front door.
– Rotate the lever on the front left side to unlock it.
– Open the imaging unit cover.
– Pull out the cleaning rod from the lower right corner of the imaging unit slot.
– Pull out the cleaning rod until it stops, then move it all the way in and out 3-4 times to clean the LEDs. Repeat this for all 4 imaging units. Make sure to pull the cleaning rods out as far as they will go. Push them in as far as they will go. Do not use excessive force.
– Close the imaging unit cover.
– Rotate the lever to the right to lock it.
– Close the front door.
Streaking, lines, ghost imaging, and repeating image defects are drum related issues. There is a separate, individual, drum unit for each color. These drum units will need to be replaced after a certain period of usage. If the above cleaning did not resolve the issue then the drum unit for colors exhibiting the issue may need replacing.
Not Fitting
Verify you have the correct cartridges for your specific printer. Make sure the correct color is being installed into the correct color slot. Check inside the printer for obstructions. Check the cartridge itself for physical damage.
