Print Quality Issues
Twist the orange protective cap of the new toner cartridge counterclockwise to remove it.
Make sure not to touch the opening of the cartridge or subject it to shock by hitting it. Doing so may cause the toner to leak out of the cartridge.
Make sure that the cartridge is fully locked into the printer. Locking the cartridge releases the toner into the drum reservoir.
Lines, streaking, ghost images, and repeating image defects are drum related issues. The drum unit is a separate, replaceable, maintenance item.
Not Fitting
Verify you have the correct cartridge for your specific printer model. Check to make sure the protective cap was removed. Check inside the printer for any obstructions or debris which may be stopping the cartridge from being installed. Check the cartridge itself for physical damage.
