THIS TONER CARTRIDGE DOES NOT HAVE THE OPC DRUM INTEGRATED.  THE DRUM UNIT IS A SEPARATE, REPLACEABLE, MAINTENANCE ITEM.

Not Recognizing

 

Verify you have the correct cartridge for you specific model printer.  This is a very basic toner cartridge and there is no smart chip or electronics of any kind on the cartridge.

 

To remove and install the toner cartridge into a Konica Minolta Bizhub 211 printer do the following;

–          Open the front door.

 

–          Open the toner bottle holder toward you, and then pull out the toner bottle.

 

–          Insert the new toner bottle into the toner bottle holder.  The tab on the toner bottle should securely fit into the notch in the toner bottle holder.

 

–          Lightly tap on the bottom of the toner bottle 3 or 4 times to make sure the toner powder is loose inside.

 

–          Close the toner bottle holder, and then close the front door.  Once the front door is closed, the toner replenishing automatically begins.

 

Print Quality Issues

 

There is a piece of tape which must be removed from the cartridge prior to installation.

 

Streaking, lines, ghost images, and repeating image defects are drum related issues.  The drum unit is separate from the toner cartridge.

 

Not Fitting

 

Verify you have the correct cartridge for your specific printer model.  Check to make sure the cartridge is being installed in the correct orientation.  Check the inside of the printer for any obstructions that may be causing the cartridge not to fit properly.  Check the cartridge itself for physical damage.
