THESE ARE TONER CARTRIDGES THAT DO NOT HAVE AN INTEGRATED DRUM UNIT. THE DRUM IS A SEPARATE UNIT FROM THE TONER CARTRIDGES.
These are compatible cartridges so there will be some differences from the OEM; these differences will NOT affect the function.
There are four colors in this series; Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow.
There is a waste toner box included with our compatible cartridge which will need to be replaced at the same time as the toner cartridge(s).
Not Recognizing
Verify they have the correct cartridge for their specific printer model.
This cartridge uses a RF or radio frequency sensor chip located on the bottom of the cartridge. This chip does not make physical contact with the printer but rather sits in a specific position to be picked up by the printer’s sensor. Make sure that the cartridge is properly inserted and locks into place to ensure the chip is in the correct position. If the problem persists it is most likely an issue with the chip on the cartridge.
To remove and replace the toner cartridges in a FS-C2026MFP printer do the following;
– While pulling the top tray cover lever, open the top tray.
– Carefully remove the color toner cartridge that needs replacing. Make sure to make note of the different color locations.
– Verify that you have the correct color toner cartridge for the cartridge being replaced. Make sure the release lever is in the release position and set the new toner cartridge into the correct color slot.
– Push down on the top of the toner cartridge to install it firmly in place.
– Close the top tray.
The waste toner box will need to replaced at the same time as the cartridges. To replace the waste toner box do the following;
– Open the waste toner cover.
– Press the lock button and gently remove the waste toner box. Do not let the opening of the waste toner box face downward or toner spillage may occur.
– Open the cap of the new waste toner box.
– Insert the new waste toner box. When the box is set correctly, it will snap into place.
– Make sure that the waste toner box is correctly inserted and close the waste toner cover.
Kyocera Mita requires that the printer must be cleaned when a toner cartridge is replaced. Failure to clean the printer may cause print quality issues. To clean the printer do the following;
– Pull up the rear cover lever and open the rear cover.
– Wipe away the paper dust on the registration roller and the paper ramp using a dry cloth. Be careful not to touch the black transfer roller and black transfer belt during cleaning as this may cause bad print quality.
– Close the rear cover.
Print Quality Issues
Make sure the cleaning outlined above was completed.
Shake the toner cartridge 5 or 6 times to distribute the toner evenly inside the cartridge. Do not touch the toner feed slot.
Not Fitting
