THIS TONER CARTRIDGE DOES NOT HAVE INTEGRATED DRUM UNIT.  THE DRUM IS A SEPARATE UNIT FROM THE TONER CARTRIDGE.  THE EXISTING DRUM UNIT WILL NEED TO BE RE-USED WITH THE NEW TONER.  MAKE SURE THE DRUM UNIT HAS NOT BEEN REMOVED WITH THE OLD TONER CARTRIDGE.

This is a compatible cartridge so there will be differences from the OEM cartridge.  These differences will not affect the function of the cartridge.

Print Quality Issues

Make sure that the lower glass was cleaned as outlined in the steps above.

There is a piece of protective tape which must be removed from the cartridge prior to installation.

Try shaking the toner 5 or 6 times.  The powder may become compacted inside the cartridge.

Streaking, lines, ghost images, and repeating defects are drum related issues.  The drum unit is a replaceable maintenance item.  It will need to be replaced after a certain period of usage, usually 4-6 toner changes.

Not Fitting

Verify they have the correct cartridge for their specific printer model.  Make sure they are installing the toner cartridge into their existing drum unit.  If they say the cartridge is too small then they have removed the drum unit with their old toner cartridge.  They will need to separate the drum unit from their old toner and re-use the drum unit with the new toner cartridge.
