THIS IS NOT A TONER CARTRIDGE.  IT IS A MAINTENANCE ITEM THAT COLLECTS THE EXCESS TONER FROM NORMAL PRINTING AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED ONCE IT BECOMES FULL.

This is a compatible waste toner box so there will be some differences between this and the OEM, however these differences will not affect function.

 

Not Recognizing

 

There is no smart chip on this waste toner box.  Make sure you are not accidentally installing a previously used waste toner box.  Make sure the error message you are receiving is not referencing a toner cartridge or drum unit.  This is NOT a toner cartridge or drum unit.

 

To remove and install this into a Konica Minolta Bizhub C350 do the following;

–          Open the left-side door.

 

–          Grab the handle of the waste toner box, slightly lift up on the box, and then pull it out.

 

–          Install the new waste toner box.  Push firmly until it fully seats into place.

 

–          Close the left-side cover.

 

Print Quality Issues

 

The waste toner box has no affect on print quality.  It is NOT a toner cartridge or drum unit, it’s simply a container to hold the excess toner from normal printing for disposal later.

 

Not Fitting

 

Verify you have the correct waste toner box for your specific printer.  If you need a toner cartridge, this is not the correct item.  Check the blue tab on the cartridge and make sure it is on the correct side of the cartridge as pictured below.

 

Check inside the printer for any obstructions.  Check the cartridge itself for physical damage.
