THESE ARE TONER CARTRIDGES THAT DO NOT HAVE THE OPC DRUM BUILT INTO THE CARTRIDGES. THE OPC DRUM IS A SEPARATE, REPLACEABLE, MAINTENANCE ITEM.
These are compatible cartridges so there will be differences in these from the OEMs. These differences will not affect the function.
Not Recognizing
Verify you have the correct cartridges for your specific printer model.
There is a smart chip located on the front of the cartridges. Inspect the smart chip for damage or debris. A clean, dry, lint-free cloth can be used to gently clean the gold contacts.
These cartridges install into a color laser printer that uses a carousel setup. For more information on carousel printers please see the CSR Blog link below;

To remove and install the toner cartridges into a Konica Minolta B10 printer do the following;
– Press the TC Change key and select the color that needs replacing. This will move that color cartridge into the correct position to be changed. This printer uses 4 different color toner cartridges; Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. Be sure that the color toner cartridge you have matches the color cartridge you are selecting on the printer for replacement.
– Pull the scanner unit release lever.
– Open the scanner unit. Be careful not to touch the plate on the back of the scanner unit.
– Pull the lever, and then open the engine cover. Do NOT touch the transfer belt.
– Open the front cover and check that the toner cartridge to be replaced has rotated to the exchange position.
– Pull the handle on the toner cartridge toward you, and then pull the toner cartridge up to remove it.
– Be sure you are installing the correct color cartridge for the color slot. If it is the incorrect slot you will need to go back to the first step above and make sure the correct color is selected. Align the shaft on each end of the toner cartridge with its holders, and then insert the cartridge.
– Press down on the toner cartridge until it snaps into place.
– Close the front cover.
– Carefully close the engine cover.
– Carefully close the scanner unit.
– If you have to replace another cartridge press the TC Change key again to select the next cartridge that needs replacing and follow the above steps again. Do this for each color that needs replacing. Once you are finished replacing all the colors that need replacing press the Stop/Reset key. The printer will then go through a calibration cycle.
Print Quality Issues
There’s a yellow protective cover over the rubber roller on the cartridge which must be removed prior to installation. Do NOT touch the rubber roller.
Shake the toner cartridge a few times to redistribute the toner powder.
Streaking, lines, ghost images, and repeating image defects are drum related issues. The drum unit is separate and is a maintenance item. It will need replacing after a certain period of usage.
Not Fitting
Verify you have the correct cartridges for your specific printer model. Be sure that the correct color is going into the correct slot. Make sure all protective covers are removed from the cartridges. Check inside the printer for any obstructions. Check the cartridge itself for physical damage.
