THIS TONER CARTRIDGE DOES NOT HAVE THE OPC DRUM INTEGRATED.  THE DRUM IS A SEPARATE, REPLACEABLE, MAINTENANCE ITEM.

 

Not Recognizing

 

Verify you have the correct cartridge for your specific printer model.

 

There is no smart chip on this toner cartridge.  Verify that the toner was installed properly and is fully inserted into the copier.

 

The end with the lip will face towards you as the toner is inserted into the copier.

 

Print Quality Issues

 

There’s a pull tape seal on the toner cartridge that will need to be removed once the toner is inserted into the copier.  Do NOT remove this seal tape while the cartridge is out of the copier as toner will leak from the cartridge.

 

Lines, streaking, ghost images, and repeating image defects are drum related issues.  The drum unit is a separate, replaceable, maintenance item.

 

Not Fitting

 

Verify you have the correct cartridge for their specific printer model.  Check to make sure the cartridge is being installed in the correct orientation.  Check inside the printer for any obstructions or debris which may be stopping the cartridge from being installed.  Check the cartridge itself for physical damage.
