Not Recognizing

 

Verify you have the correct cartridge for your specific model of printer.

 

This cartridge uses a RF or radio frequency sensor chip that’s located on the center of the cartridge. This chip does not make physical contact with the printer but rather sits in a specific position to be picked up by the printer’s sensor. Make sure that the cartridge is properly inserted and locks into place to ensure the chip is in the correct position. If the problem persists it is most likely an issue with the chip on the cartridge.

Print Quality Issues

 

Ghosting, lines, streaking, and repeating image defects will be an issue with the drum unit.  The drum unit is a separate, replaceable, maintenance item that will need to be changed usually after 4-6 toner changes.  We do not currently carry replacement drum units.

 

Try shaking the cartridge left to right 10 times to redistribute the toner powder inside the cartridge.

Make sure the cartridge is fully inserted to ensure the shutter on the cartridge is fully opened allowing the toner powder to leave the cartridge.
